Jocelyn Hollis

Jocelyn Hollis has spent many years in Spain and started painting while living there in her twenties. She was captivated by the intense colour and light of the country, and this continues to inspire her work: ‘I fell in love with the culture, people, art and music and have kept the light of Spain in my soul which is reflected back in my landscapes’. She brings this sense of light and colour to her paintings of Suffolk and Ireland, using strong, dramatic brushstrokes to convey the essence of the landscape.
