Anna Dixon-Smith

Anna Dixon-Smith studied at St Martins School of Art, and later at the Royal Drawing School and Ipswich School of Art. Her paintings are often intimate portraits of her everyday surroundings, using flowers from her garden and objects gathered from around her home. She is drawn to painting interiors and the gentle everyday rhythm of the house captured at a particular moment in time. Although the figure is usually absent, there is a sense of someone having been there.

Anna lives in Suffolk and works primarily in oil and collage.
